Effects of Reduced Chemical Fertilizer Application and Combined Use of Organic Manure on the Comprehensive Economic Benefits of Jihua 19
[Objective]The objective of this study is to determine the optimal application rates of high oleic acid peanut organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer in Hebei Province.[Method]High oleic acid peanut Jihua 19 was used as the subject, with six treatments established to test different levels of organic fertilizer substitution(15%,30%,45%)under conditions of no fertilizer application, conventional fertil-izer application, reduced fertilizer application, and further reduced fertilizer application. The effects on yield, quality, soil properties, and economic benefits of high oleic acid peanuts were studied.[Result]Compared to no fertilization, the yield and quality of peanuts in each fertilization treatment were im-proved to varying degrees. The best results were obtained with a 30%substitution of chemical fertilizers with organic fertilizer, yielding individual fruit weight, hundred fruit weight, yield, protein content, and fat content of 68.2 g,232.5 g,6093.1 kg/hm2,24.85%and 56.03%,respectively.With further increases in organic fertilizer dosage, all parameters showed a downward trend.Compared to no fertilization, the soil physical and chemical properties in each fertilization treatment were improved to varying degrees, with effects gradually increasing with the application of organic fertilizer. The best effect was observed with a 45%substitution of chemical fertilizer with organic fertilizer. The soil organic matter, alkaline ni-trogen,available phosphorus, available potassium, and cation exchange capacity were 14.7 g/kg,95.8 mg/kg,32.5 mg/kg,160 mg/kg and 14.05 cmol/kg,respectively.Compared to no fertilization, the eco-nomic benefits of each fertilization treatment initially increased and then decreased, with income in-crease rates of 6.29%,8.37%,8.43%,9.16%and-14.91%,respectively.The best economic benefits were achieved with a 30%substitution of chemical fertilizers with organic fertilizer.[Conclusion]Com-pared to conventional fertilization,a 10%reduction in fertilizer application did not significantly affect yield, quality,or soil properties but improved economic benefits.Furthermore, under reduced chemical fertilizer application, the reasonable substitution of organic fertilizer for chemical fertilizer further en-hanced the yield, quality, soil properties, and economic benefits of peanuts. However,if the proportion of organic fertilizer substitution is too high,it will lead to varying degrees of reduction in yield and qual-ity improvement effects,as well as economic benefits. The most comprehensive effect was achieved with a 30%substitution of chemical fertilizer with organic fertilizer.
