[Objective]Explore the mechanisms and pathways through which new quality productive forces empower rural revitalization,providing theoretical references and practical solutions for achieving agricultural and rural modernization.[Method]Based on a review of relevant literature,this paper sys-tematically analyzes the intrinsic mechanism,realistic difficulties,and realization path of empowering ru-ral revitalization with new quality productive forces from three perspectives:what to empower,why to em-power,and how to empower.[Result]New quality productive forces provide powerful driving force for the prosperity of rural industries,ecological livability,civilized rural customs,effective rural gover-nance,and prosperous rural lives.However,there are realistic dilemmas in the empowerment process,including limited rural industrial development,prominent shortcomings in agricultural technological in-novation,insufficient supply of new-type rural workers,and uneven development of digital rural con-struction.[Conclusion]It is necessary to enhance the level of rural industrial development and strengthen the foundation for empowerment;strengthen agricultural technological innovation and stimu-late the driving force for empowerment;build a strong team of new-type rural workers and improve the ef-ficiency of empowerment;accelerate the construction of digital rural areas and optimize the blueprint for empowerment,so as to form a powerful synergy for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization.
