A Brief Discussion on the Characteristics and Historical and Cultural Values of Shu Road Literature in the Qing Dynasty
The Shu Road literature of the Qing Dynasty mainly consists of travel literature,poetry literature and in-scription literature.The number of travel literature on Shu Road is more than the totals of the previous dynasty,and many of them are combined with diaries and poems,among which there are some excellent works with important historical materials,which are an important part of travel literature in the Qing Dynasty.The literature of Shu Road poetry is numerous and complex,which is mostly found in the anthology manuscripts of the Qing Dynasty.There are a large group of authors,including famous masters and more unknown scholars,who have the style characteris-tics of faithful and documentary representation,and lament the dangers of nature.Worries about war and people's livelihood are their important themes.The inscription documents are mainly the historical research,interpretation and transcription of inscription calligraphy of the Han and Wei Dynasties along the Shu Road done by scholars of the Qing Dynasty.The documents on the Shu Road in the Qing Dynasty have important historical value in reflecting the historical changes of the traffic,the ecological environment of the Shu Road and its social features,and are closely related to many important historical events in Sichuan and Shaanxi in the Qing Dynasty.A large number of Shu Road poetry in the Qing Dynasty not only bear the difficult life of the literati in the Qing Dynasty,they are also the typical portrayal of life experience in the mountains.
