Effect of radical resection of prostatic cancer combined with androgen deprivation in patients with oligometastatic prostate cancer
Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of radical resection of prostatic cancer combined with androgen deprivation in patients with oligometastatic prostate cancer.Methods:88 patients with oligometastatic prostate cancer admitted to our hospital from July 2020 to July 2022 were selected as the study objects. The patients were randomly divided into control group and study group,44 cases each. The control group was treated with radical resection of prostatic cancer. The study group was treated with radical prostatic cancer reduction combined with androgen deprivation. The level of Prostate-Specific Antigen(PSA),the effect of tumor control and the incidence of adverse events were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in PSA level between the two groups. The PSA level of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 3 and 6 months after treatment(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the number of metastatic lesions between the two groups. The number of metastatic lesions in the control group at 3 and 6 months after operation was significantly higher than that in the study group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse conditions in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of oligometastatic prostate cancer, radical prostatectomy combined with androgen deprivation can improve PSA level, improve tumor control effect and reduce adverse reactions.
