Early detection of endometrial thickness by transvaginal ultrasonography combined with serum β-HCG detection in the clinical diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy
Objective:To investigate the clinical diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy by early transvaginal ultrasonography and detection of endometrial thickness combined with serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG).Methods:A total of 156 patients with ectopic pregnancy admitted from March 2018 to March 2021 were selected as the ectopic pregnancy group, and 156 healthy pregnant women who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.Clinical data of the two groups were collected. The endometrial thickness, peak systolic velocity(VS)and enddiastolic velocity(VS)were recorded by early transvaginal ultrasonography in both groups.VD and resistance index(RI),serum β-HCG levels were detected by chemiluminescence immunoassay. The difference of the above indexes between the two groups was compared, and the value of the combined detection of the above indexes in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC).Results:VS,VD and RI levels in ectopic pregnancy group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05),endometrial thickness and serum β-HCG levels were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).ROC analysis showed that endometrial thickness,VS,VD,RI,serum β-HCG and their combined detection of the receiver operating characteristic,AUC was 0.780,0.743,0.733,0.746,0.793 and 0.934,respectively,all P<0.05.Conclusion:Early transvaginal ultrasonography of endometrial thickness combined with serum β-HCG detection can improve the accuracy of diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy, and help to timely detection and treatment of abnormalities.
