Effect of moxibustion on improving nerve tissue injury in diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients and its influence on hemorheology and nerve conduction velocity
Objective:To investigate the effects of moxibustion on nerve conduction velocity, hemorheology and nerve tissue injury in diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients. Methods:A total of 127 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy in our hospital from February 2021 to April 2022 were selected as research objects, and randomly divided into control group and observation group.63 patients in the control group were received routine intervention with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and 64 patients in the observation group were received combined treatment with moxibustion.Hemorheology, nerve conduction velocity, nerve sensory function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity, plasma viscosity and fibrinogen in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05);the Motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)and Sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV)of tibial nerve and peroneal nerve in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05);neurological function scores, neurological reflex scores and sensory function scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).No obvious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups. Conclusion:Moxibustion treatment can effectively improve nerve sensory function, improve hemorheology in diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients, improve nerve conduction velocity, with high safety;which has the value of clinical promotion.
