Effects of alfacalcidol tablets and Xuling Jiangu granules on bone mineral density and serum calcium and phosphorus indexes in patients with osteoporosis
Objective:To explore the effects of alfacalcidol tablets combined with Xuling Jiangu granules on bone mineral density and serum calcium and phosphorus in patients with osteoporosis.Methods:A total of 114 patients with osteoporosis admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to June 2022 were randomly divided into the control group(n=57,alfacalcidol 0.5 μg,orally)and the observation group(n=57,alfacalcidol 0.5 μg + a bag of Xuling Jiangu granules,orally).After treatment for 1 m,the clinical efficacy was compared.At the same time,the levels of typeⅠ procollagen N-terminal peptide(PINP),type Ⅰ collagen cross-linked C-terminal peptides(CTX),and serum alkaline phosphatase(ALP)were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Bone mineral density was measured by X-ray bone densitometer,and serum calcium and phosphorus levels were measured by biochemical method.Results:After treatment,the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The level of bone metabolism in the observation group was significantly improved.The T-score of bone density,serum calcium and phosphorus were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined effect of alfacalcidol tablets and Xuling Jiangu granules is more obvious,safe,and reliable,which is beneficial to regulate bone metabolism,serum calcium,and phosphorus levels,and increase bone mineral density.
