Clinical curative effect of sacubitril/valsartan and benazepril hydrochloride and its influences on carotid intima-media thickness in patients(≥75 years)with coronary heart disease and heart failure
Objective:To compare the clinical curative effect of sacubitril/valsartan and benazepril hydrochloride and its influences on carotid intima-media thickness(CIMT)in patients(≥75 years)with coronary heart disease(CHD)and heart failure(HF).Methods:A total of 76 patients(≥75 years)with CHD and HF admitted to the hospital were enrolled as the research objects between May 2019 and June 2022.According to random grouping method, they were divided into control group(38 cases, benazepril hydrochloride)and observation group(38 cases,sacubitril/valsartan).All were treated for 3 months. The clinical curative effect, changes in CIMT,cardiac function indexes, inflammatory factors and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, total response rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,CIMT,left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),Left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),endothelin-1(ET-1),brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and cell adhesion molecule-1(CAM-1)were significantly decreased in both groups, which were significantly lower in observation group than control group(P<0.05),while left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was significantly increased(P<0.05),which was significantly higher in observation group than control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with benazepril hydrochloride, clinical curative effect of sacubitril/valsartan is more significant on patients(≥75 years)with CHD and HF,which can reduce CIMT,improve cardiac function index and reduce levels of inflammatory factors.
