Application of multifunctional therapeutic apparatus combined with sling exercise training in patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy
Objective:To explore the effect of multifunctional therapeutic apparatus combined with sling exercise training(Sling exercise training,S-E-T)in the rehabilitation of patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,CSR).Methods:A total of 100 CSR patients admitted to Xinyang People's Hospital in Henan from April 2020 to April 2022 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method,patients were divided into an observation group and a control group,with 50 cases each.The control group was treated with S-E-T,and the observation group was treated with multifunctional therapeutic apparatus on the basis of the control group,and both were treated for 4 weeks.The degree of pain,cervical mobility,cervical curvature,cervical function and satisfaction at the end of treatment were compared between the two groups before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment.Results:At 4 weeks of treatment,the scores of Short form-McGill pain questionnaire(SF-MPQ)and Neck Disability Index(NDI)in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The range of motion and curvature of cervical vertebrae in the two groups increased significantly compared with those before treatment,and the above indexes in the observation group were significantly greater than those in the control group(P<0.05).The Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores(JOA)scores of the two groups were significantly improved,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).At the end of treatment,the satisfaction score of the observation group on this treatment was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The multifunctional therapeutic apparatus combined with S-E-T can reduce the pain degree of CSR patients,improve cervical mobility and curvature,and contribute to the recovery of cervical spine function,with high patient satisfaction.
