Comparison of the efficacy of loop plate and hollow screw fixation on the early treatment of lower radioulnar joint dislocation
Objective:To analyze the effect of loop plate and hollow screw fixation in early patients with lower ulnar radial joint dislocation. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted to select 96 patients with early dislocation of the lower ulnar radial joint from May 2018 to May 2021,and they were divided into two groups according to different surgical methods. The control group was treated with hollow screw fixation; The observation group was treated with loop plate fixation,48 cases each. The postoperative efficacy was evaluated by comparing the Cooney wrist score before and 2 months after surgery, the active range of motion of the affected and healthy wrist joints, and postoperative complications 2 months after surgery. Results:The excellent and good rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, but there was no difference in comparison(P>0.05);The Cooney wrist joint score, flexion and extension activity, and pronation and supination activity of the affected side in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);The Gartland Werley wrist function score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);There were no complications such as recurrence of dislocation and incision infection in both groups. Conclusion:The treatment of early dislocation of the ulnar radial joint with loop plate fixation can achieve significant results, restore wrist function, improve wrist flexion and extension range of motion, and pronation and supination range of motion, which is worth recommending.
