Effect of abdominal transverse microincision surgery on inguinal hernia in children and its influence on inflammatory factors
Objective:To investigate the effect of abdominal transverse micro incision surgery on inguinal hernia in children and its influence on inflammatory factors. Methods:A total of 106 children with inguinal hernia in our hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected as research subjects and were divided into control group and observation group, according to random number table method, with 53 cases in each group.Children in the control group were given traditional surgical treatment, while children in the observation group were given abdominal transverse micro incision surgery. The perioperative related indicators(surgical time, incision length, hospital stay),inflammatory factor indicators and relevant indicators of intestinal mucosal function before and 1 day after surgery Intestinal-fatty acid binding protein(i-FABP),Lactulose/Mannitol(L/M),D-lactic acid(D-LA)were compared. At the same time, the occurrence of postoperative complications between two groups were recorded. Results:The incision length in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the operation and hospitalization time were shorter than those in the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).There were no differences in the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)before treatment in both groups(P>0.05);after treatment,IL-6 and TNF-α and hs-CRP were increased in both groups, but IL-6,TNF-α and hs-CRP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative D-lactic acid(D-LA),intestinal-fatty acid binding protein(i-FABP),lactulose/mannitol(L/M)in the control group were higher than those before surgery(P<0.05);The postoperative D-LA,i-FABP and L/M levels in the observation group were not different compared to preoperative(P>0.05),and were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:The abdominal transverse microincision surgery in the treatment of inguinal hernia in children has a better effect, can shorten the recovery time, reduce the impact of inflammatory factors, and has a high safety.
