Application of HRCT and multi-dimensional reconstruction techniques in qualitative diagnosis of pulmonary nodules
Objective:To explore the application value of high-resolution computed tomography(HRCT)and multidimensional reconstruction in the qualitative diagnosis of pulmonary nodules.Methods:65 patients with pulmonary nodules admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to October 2022 were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent routine X-ray examination and HRCT multi-dimensional reconstruction technique, and pathological biopsy results were used as the gold standard. The imaging results were analyzed to compare the efficacy of routine X-ray examination and HRCT multidimensional reconstruction in the qualitative diagnosis of pulmonary nodules. Results:Pathological biopsies confirmed that 37 cases of pulmonary nodules were malignant and 28 cases were benign.Kappa consistency test showed that there was medium consistency between the results of routine X-ray and pathological biopsy(Kappa=0.498,P<0.001).There was strong consistency between HRCT multi-dimensional reconstruction and pathological biopsy results(Kappa=0.905,P<0.001).The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of HRCT multi-dimensional reconstruction(97.30%,92.86%,95.38%)were higher than those of conventional X-ray examination(78.38%,71.43%,75.38%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:HRCT and multi-dimensional reconstruction technique have high diagnostic value in pulmonary nodule, and can effectively improve the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of qualitative diagnosis of pulmonary nodule.
