The clinical application value of multi-slice spiral CT urography in ureteral calculi
Objective:To explore the clinical application value of multi-slice spiral CT urography(MSCTU)in ureteral calculi. Methods:Selecting 61 patients with ureteral stones as the study subjects admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to September 2022,all of whom were diagnosed with ureteral calculi by surgical pathology examination. All 61 patients underwent intravenous pyelogram(IVP)and MSCTU examination. The number of calculi, size, accuracy of diagnosis of hydronephrosis, accuracy of diagnosis of calculi location and diagnostic value of the two examinations were recorded and compared. Results:The number of calculi, size and accuracy of diagnosis of hydronephrosis of MSCTU were significantly higher than those of IVP,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total accuracy of diagnosis of stone location of MSCTU(93.44%)was significantly higher than that of IVP(80.32%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of IVP in the diagnosis of ureteral calculi were 80.43%and 80.00%,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of MSCTU in the diagnosis of ureteral calculi were 93.47%and 86.66%,respectively,significantly higher than those of IVP(P<0.05).Conclusion:The accuracy of MSCTU in the diagnosis of calculi, size, location and hydronephrosis is higher than that of IVP,which can improve more comprehensive imaging information for clinical practice.
