Effect of Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction assisted operation on elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur and its influence on inflammation and coagulation function
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction assisted operation in the treatment of senile patients with Intertrochanteric Fracture(ITF)and its effects on inflammatory response and coagulation function.Methods:A total of 96 elderly patients with ITF admitted to our hospital from April 2019 to April 2022 were randomly divided into control group and test group,with 48 cases in each group.The control group was treated with surgery,and the test group was treated with Fuyuan Revitalizing Blood Soup as an adjunct to surgery.The clinical efficacy,postoperative recovery(bone scab production,postoperative weight bearing,hospitalization,fracture healing),visual analogue scale(VAS),swelling value,coagulation function,bone metabolic index and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Results:The excellent rate of the test group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the time to bone scab production,postoperative weight-bearing time,hospital stay and fracture healing time were shorter,the swelling value and VAS score were lower in the test group,the reduction in coagulation indexes was greater in the test group,the level of bone metabolic indexes was higher in the test group and the level of inflammatory factors was lower in the test group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction has significant curative effect in the adjuvant surgery for elderly patients with ITF,which can reduce inflammation,reduce pain and swelling,regulate the body's coagulation function,improve bone metabolism,and accelerate the recovery of hip joint function.
