Therapeutic effect of semiconductor laser on maxillofacial hemangioma
Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of semiconductor laser on maxillofacial hemangioma.Methods:60 patients with oral mucosa venular malformations admitted to our hospital from December 2021 to April 2023 were randomly divided into the control group(30 cases)and the experimental group(30 cases). The control group was treated with sclerosing agent, and the experimental group was treated with semiconductor laser combined with sclerosing agent.Clinical effects, incidence rates of postoperative complications, and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results:The total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Three months after treatment, the experimental group had significantly milder pain than the control group(P<0.05),and treatment times of the experimental group was significantly less than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications and recurrence rate in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with treatment with sclerosing agent alone, the combined treatment with semiconductor laser and sclerosing agent is more effective in the treatment of patients with oral mucosa venular malformations. It can effectively relieve pain, and reduce treatment times and recurrence, without increasing postoperative complications.
