Application of lifestyle intervention based on information motivation behavior skill model in discharged patients with cerebral infarction
Objective:To use IMB model to individualize the lifestyle of patients with cerebral infarction, and to evaluate the effect of this model on the lifestyle management of patients with cerebral infarction.Methods:46 patients with cerebral infarction admitted to the neurology department of our hospital from May 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the subjects.Randomly divide these patients into an intervention group and a control group, with 23 patients in each group. The control group patients received routine nursing intervention mode.On the basis of conventional nursing intervention, the intervention group conducted personalized lifestyle interventions for stroke patients based on the IMB model for 6 months. At discharge/after intervention, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIH Stroke Scale),Modified Rankin Scale(mRS),and Shortform 36 questionnaire(SF-36)were used to evaluate the degree of neurological impairment, disability, and quality of life of two groups of patients. Results:After intervention, the NIHSS score of the intervention group significantly decreased compared to the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, there were 3 cases without disabilities and 20 cases with disabilities in the control group(15 cases at level 2,4 cases at level 3,and 1 case at level 4);There were 15 cases without disabilities and 8 cases with disabilities in the intervention group(2 cases at level 2,6 cases at level 3,and 0 cases at level 4),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that the mRS rating of the intervention group shifted more significantly to a lower level. After intervention, the scores of physiological function, mental health, physical pain, vitality, physiological function, social function, emotional function, and overall health in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the intervention group showed better subjective treatment effect and significantly improved satisfaction(P<0.05).There were no adverse events or unexpected events in both groups. Conclusion:personalized lifestyle intervention based on IMB model can improve the effect of lifestyle management in patients with cerebral infarction.
