Clinical observation of bacterial lysates assisted treatment of protracted bacterial bronchitis in children
Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of bacterial lysates assisted with amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium + ambrocol in the treatment of children with protracted bacterial bronchitis.Methods:88 children with protracted bacterial bronchitis admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as research subjects, and were divided into observation group and control group by the odd-even number random method, with 44 cases in each group. The children in control group were given treatment regimen of amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium + ambrocol, and the children in observation group were additionally treated with bacterial lysates on the basis of control group. The therapeutic effect after 7 days of treatment(disappearance times of fever, cough and lung wet rales during treatment),levels of immune markers(serum immunoglobulin A(IgA),serum immunoglobulin G(IgG),CD4+T lymphocyte population,CD8+T lymphocyte population)before treatment and after 7 days of treatment and levels of inflammatory factors(C-reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin)before treatment and after 7 days of treatment and recurrence rate of bacterial bronchitis within 2 months of follow-up were observed and compared between both groups of children. Results:After treatment, the levels of IgA,IgG,CD4+ and CD8+ in both groups were significantly enhanced compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of IgA,IgG,CD4+ and CD8+ in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, and the disappearance time of each clinical symptom, antibiotic use time,CRP level, procalcitonin level and recurrence rate were significantly shorter or lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bacterial lysates assisted with amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium + ambrocol can accelerate the symptom disappearance, relieve the inflammatory response, enhance the immunity level and reduce the risk of recurrence in children with protracted bacterial bronchitis, and it has high safety,so it is recommended for clinical promotion and application.
