Application of XiaoEr ZhiLi TangJiang assisted EEG biofeedback therapy in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of XiaoEr ZhiLi TangJiang combined with EEG biofeedback on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD).Methods:Seventy-two children with ADHD admitted to our hospital from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects,and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 36 cases each.The control group was treated with EEG biofeedback and conventional western medicine,while the observation group was treated with XiaoEr ZhiLi TangJiang on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,clinical symptoms[Achenbach's Child Behavior Check list(CBCL)],attention[Visual attention quotient(VAQ),Auditory attention quotient(AAQ),Full scale attention quotient(FAQ)scores],and EEG frequency between the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group is significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the CBCL score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the VAQ,AAQ,and FAQ scores were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the β wave and SMR wave in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the θ wave was significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:XiaoEr ZhiLi TangJiang combined with EEG biofeedback in the treatment of ADHD children can improve the therapeutic effect,improve clinical symptoms,increase attention quotient and improve brain wave frequency.
