Effects of Dengzhan Shengmai capsule combined with metoprolol on ventricular remodeling in patients with chronic heart failure
Objective:To explore the effects of Dengzhan Shengmai capsule combined with metoprolol(MP)on ventricular remodeling in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:A total of 82 patients with CHF treated in the hospital were enrolled as the research objects between January 2019 and December 2022.According to simple random grouping method,they were divided into observation group and control group,41 cases in each group.The control group was treated with MP,while observation group was treated with Dengzhan Shengmai capsules and MP for 2 months.The clinical curative effect,resting ventricular rate,times of ventricular premature contraction,6 min walking distance and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,total response rate of treatment in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group,while resting ventricular rate,left ventricular end diastolic volume(LVEDV)and left ventricular end systolic volume(LVESV)were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The times of ventricular premature contraction in observation group were significantly fewer than those in control group,and 6min walking distance was significantly farther than that in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant differences in the incidence of adverse reactions(sinus bradycardia,nausea and vomiting)between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Dengzhan Shengmai capsule combined with MP can significantly improve ventricular remodeling and cardiac function in CHF patients,with high safety.
