Effect of total hip replacement and femoral head replacement on treatment and complications in elderly patients with femoral neck fracture
Objective:To analyze the therapeutic effects of femoral head replacement and Total hip replacement(THA)for older patients with femoral neck fracture(FNF).Methods:78 elderly patients with FNF admitted to our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected and divided into control group and study group according to random number table method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group underwent femoral head replacement and the study group underwent total hip arthroplasty.Perioperative indexes of the two groups were analyzed and compared.Hip joint function scale(Harris)was used to evaluate hip function 3 months after surgery.Visual analogue scale(VAS)was used to evaluate pain degree 1,3 and 6 months before and after surgery. Results:The operative time and blood loss of the study group were significantly increased compared with the control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in postoperative drainage volume, first time of getting out of bed and length of stay between the two groups(P>0.05).The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 3 months and 6 months after surgery(P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both femoral head replacement and THA can achieve good curative effect in elderly patients with FNF.THA recovery rate is higher, can reduce postoperative pain, reduce complications.
