Observation on the therapeutic effect of phacoemulsification intraocular lens implantation in patients with high myopia cataract
Objective:To analyze the therapeutic effect of phacoemulsification intraocular lens implantation in patients with high myopia cataract.Methods:106 patients with high myopia cataract from October 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects.Patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 53 cases in each group. The control group underwent extracapsular cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation. The observation group underwent phacoemulsification intraocular lens implantation. The Best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),macular fovea thickness, anterior segment parameters, corneal endothelial function and complications were analyzed and compared between the two groups.Results:6 m after operation,BCVA of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the thickness of macular fovea was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).The Intraocular pressure(IOP)of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, but the Anterior chamber depth(ACD)and Anterior chamber volume(ACV)were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Central corneal thickness(CCT)and Corneal endothelial cell(CEC)count in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at 6 m after surgery(P<0.05).The complication rate of observation group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Phacoemulsification intraocular lens implantation can improve BCVA,macular fovea thickness and anterior segment parameters, enhance corneal endothelial function and reduce complications in patients with high myopia cataract.
