Clinical effect of amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium combined with Chinese Medicine on erysipelas
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium combined with Chinese Medicine in the treatment of erysipelas.Methods:82 cases of lower extremity erysipelas patients admitted to our hospital from February 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects. The patients were randomly divided into control group and study group,41 cases each. The control group was treated with amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium, and the research group was combined with traditional Chinese Medicine on the basis of the control group. The inflammatory response indexes, symptom relief indexes and clinical efficacy of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results:Before treatment, there were no significant differences in C-reactive protein(CRP),White blood cell(WBC)and Neutrophil count(NEUT)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,CRP,WBC and NEUT index values of both groups were significantly decreased, and the study group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The swelling pain duration and skin temperature rise time in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The effective rate of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P=0.001).Conclusion:The application of amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium combined with Chinese Medicine can improve the clinical efficacy, reduce the inflammatory response indexes of CRP,WBC and NEUT in the treatment of lower extremity pelsias, and alleviate clinical symptoms.
