Application of progressive nursing case with OTD teaching method in the training of nursing students in hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery
Objective:To explore the effect of progressive nursing cases combined with clinical Observation,theoretical learning and case discussion(OTD)teaching in the training of nursing students in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery.Methods:A total of 80 nursing students in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as research objects.Nursing students were divided into observation group(40 students)and control group(40 students)according to different internship time.Nursing students in each group had 6-8 students and the internship period was 2 months.The control group was given traditional OTD teaching mode,and the observation group was given progressive nursing cases with OTD teaching method.After 2 months of intervention,subjective feelings,evaluation of teaching effect,assessment scores of nursing students and Chinese version of the evaluative thinking ability scale were compared between the two groups.Results:After 2 months of intervention,the subjective feeling score of nursing students in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After 2 months of intervention,the scores of nursing students in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 2 months of intervention,the assessment scores of nursing students in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).After 2 months of intervention,the evaluation thinking ability score of nursing students in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of progressive nursing case with OTD teaching method in the training of nursing students in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery can improve their subjective feelings,teachers'teaching effect,assessment results and critical thinking ability of nursing students.
