目的:探讨老年白内障患者人格特点与术前视功能期望水平和术前焦虑的关系.方法:选取 2023 年 1 月至2023 年 9 月在我院预期行白内障手术的 98 例老年白内障患者作为研究对象,将其作为观察组.另选同期在我院进行健康体检的 50 例老年人作为对照组.比较两组患者的大五因素人格量表(NEO Five-Factor Inventory,NEO-FFI)评估结果.使用视觉功能问卷(Vision-Related Quality of Life and Visual Function,VFQ-25)、焦虑自评量表(Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,SAS)评估观察组患者的术前视功能期望水平、术前焦虑状况.分析老年白内障患者人格特点与术前视功能期望水平和术前焦虑的关系.结果:调查结果显示,观察组神经质、开放性、宜人性得分低于对照组(P＜0.05).相关性分析显示,老年白内障患者VFQ-25 总分与SAS总分呈正相关(P＜0.05),神经质维度、开放性维度、宜人性维度得分与SAS总分呈负相关(P＜0.05).多因素Logistic回归分析结果显示,神经质、开放性、宜人性、VFQ-25 是老年白内障患者术前焦虑状况的独立影响因素.结论:老年白内障患者人格特征与健康老年人有明显差异,患者的人格特点、术前视功能期望水平与术前焦虑状况密切相关,可通过针对患者人格特点及术前视功能期望水平改善患者术前焦虑.
Relationship between personality characteristics,preoperative visual function expectation level and anxiety in elderly patients with cataract
Objective:To explore the relationship between personality characteristics,preoperative visual function expectation level and anxiety in elderly patients with cataract.Methods:A total of 98 elderly patients with cataract undergoing elective surgery and 50 healthy elderly people undergoing health checkup in the hospital were enrolled as observation group or control group between January and September 2023,respectively.The evaluation results of NEO Five-Factor Inventory(NEO-FFI)were compared between the two groups.The preoperative expectation level of visual function and anxiety were evaluated by Vision-Related Quality of Life and Visual Function(VFQ-25)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS).The relationship between personality characteristics,preoperative visual function expectation level and anxiety in elderly patients with cataract was analyzed.Results:The investigation results showed that scores of neuroticism,openness and agreeableness in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that total score of VFQ-25 was positively correlated with total score of SAS(P<0.05),while scores of neuroticism,openness and agreeableness were negatively correlated with it(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that neuroticism,openness,agreeableness and VFQ-25 were independent influencing factors of preoperative anxiety in elderly patients with cataract.Conclusion:There are significant differences in personality characteristics between elderly patients with cataract and healthy elderly people.The personality characteristics and preoperative expectation level of visual function are closely related to preoperative anxiety.The preoperative anxiety of patients can be relieved based on personality characteristics and preoperative expectation level of visual function.
