Diagnostic value of serum Sclerostin,miR-155-5p and FGF-23 combined detection for vascular calcification in hemodialysis patients with uremia
Objective:To investigate the serum levels of Sclerostin(Sost),microRNA-155-5p(miR-155-5p),and Fibroblast growth factor-23(FGF-23)in uremic hemodialysis patients, and to analyze their diagnostic value for vascular calcification.Methods:Ninety-two cases patients with uremic hemodialysis admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a calcification group(n=68)and a non-calcification group(n=24)based on whether vascular calcification occurred.Detect and compare the biochemical indicators and serum levels of So,miR-155-5p,and FGF-23 between the two groups.Analyze the correlation between serum indicators, biochemical indicators, and degree of calcification.Use receiver operating characteristic(ROC)to analyze the diagnostic value of serum indicators for vascular calcification. Results:Serum levels of Sost,miR-155-5p and FGF-23 in calcification group were higher than those in non-calcification group(P<0.05).Serum Sost,miR-155-5p and FGF-23 levels were positively correlated with bone morphogenetic protein 2(BMP-2),whole parathyroid hormone(iPTH)and calcification degree(P<0.05).The AUC of serum Sost,miR-155-5p,FGF-23 combined diagnosis of vascular calcification was higher than that of single index diagnosis(P<0.05).Conclusion:Serum levels of Sost,miR-155-5p and FGF-23 increased in patients with vascular calcification in hemodialysis patients with uremia, and were positively correlated with the degree of vascular calcification.Combined detection of their levels has certain diagnostic value for vascular calcification.
