Exploration of the relationship between treatment compliance and self-awareness in patients with coronary heart disease
Objective:To study the correlation between self-awareness and treatment compliance in patients with coronary heart disease.Method:Fifty patients with coronary heart disease who visited to our hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. The baseline data of patients were collected, the treatment compliance and self-cognition of patients were evaluated, and the correlation between self-cognition and treatment compliance was analyzed.Result:There were differences in self-awareness and treatment compliance scores among patients with coronary heart disease with different educational backgrounds and disease duration(P<0.05).The self-awareness score of non compliant patients(31 cases)was significantly lower than that of compliant patients(29 cases)(P<0.05).According to Pearson correlation test, there was a positive correlation between self-awareness and treatment compliance in patients with coronary heart disease(P<0.05).Conclusion:There is a positive correlation between self-awareness and treatment compliance in patients with coronary heart disease.Patients have low self-awareness and poor compliance, while those with high self-awareness have good compliance. In addition, patients with better education and longer course of disease had higher self-awareness and treatment compliance.
