Etiological distribution characteristics of multiple drug-resistant bacteria infection and drug resistance in inpatients in the internal medicine department
Objective:To analyze etiological distribution characteristics of multiple drug-resistant bacteria infections and drug resistance in internal medicine department patients. Methods:The drug-resistant bacteria culture and drug sensitivity tests were performed on 62 inpatients with drug-resistant bacteria infection in the internal medicine department of the hospital between January 2022 and July 2023.Etiological distribution characteristics of multiple drug-resistant bacteria infections and drug resistance were analyzed. Results:In the 62 inpatients in the internal medicine department, there were 124 strains of drug-resistant bacteria, including 101 strains of Gram-negative bacteria(81.45%)and 23 strains of Gram-positive bacteria(18.55%).In sputum samples, there were 100 strains of drug-resistant bacteria. In lavage fluid samples, there were 10 strains of drug-resistant bacteria. In urine samples, there were 6 strains of drug-resistant bacteria. In blood and secretion samples, there were 8 strains of drug-resistant bacteria. The main Gram-negative bacteria were resistant to imipenem and meropenem, while the main Gram-positive bacteria were resistant to oxacillin. Conclusion:In treating inpatients in the internal medicine department, rational medication should be taken according to distribution characteristics and drug resistance of drug-resistant bacteria to ensure the effectiveness of drug treatment.
