Value of pulmonary CT examination in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant pulmonary ground glass nodules
Objective:To investigate the clinical value of pulmonary CT in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant pulmonary ground glass nodules. Methods:A total of 56 patients with pulmonary ground-glass nodules admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects, and CT examination of the lungs was carried out in all of them. The results of surgical and pathological examination were used as the gold standard to compare the differences in CT imaging signs between benign and malignant patients with pulmonary ground-glass nodules. At the same time, the diagnostic results of lung CT examination and the consistency between the diagnostic results and pathological examination results were analyzed, and the diagnostic efficacy of lung CT examination was discussed. Results:Among the 45 patients with pulmonary ground glass nodules,22 were malignant nodules and 34 were benign nodules. The proportion of irregular lesion shape, blurred lesion interface, lobed sign, burr sign, cystic clear shadow and mixed density in malignant nodules were significantly higher than those in benign nodules(P<0.05).Although there were false positive diagnosis and missed diagnosis in lung CT examination, the diagnostic accuracy was 82.14%,and the sensitivity was 95.45%.Compared with the results of surgical and pathological examination, the examination consistency was higher(Kappa=0.648,P<0.001).Conclusion:CT examination of lung has a high value in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant pulmonary ground glass nodule, which can provide a more accurate guide for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
