Value analysis of HPV and TCT in screening of cervical precancerous lesions
Objective:To analyze the clinical value of Human Papilloma Virus(HPV)and Thin-Cytologic Test(TCT)in screening cervical lesions. Methods:A total of 2614 patients with suspected cervical prelesions who underwent screening for cervical prelesions in our hospital from July 2020 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent HPV and TCT examination, and pathological examination results were taken as the gold standard of this study. The results of HPV and TCT examination were compared, and the actual clinical value of HPV and TCT examination in the early screening of cervical precancerous lesions was analyzed. Results:The positive rate of 2614 patients with suspected precancerous lesions of cervical cancer was 8.22%.The positive rate of HPV was 8.11%,and the Kappa value between HPV and pathological test was 0.6855.The positive rate of TCT examination was 2.98%,and the Kappa value between TCT examination and pathological examination was 0.4182.The positive rate of combined examination was 8.19%,and the Kappa value between the combined examination and pathological examination was 0.7383.The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value for the diagnosis of cervical precancerous lesions were 69.77%,97.62%,95.33%,72.46%,97.30%for HPV.The results of TCT examination were 30.23%,99.46%,93.46%,83.33%and 94.09%.The joint examination was 74.88%,97.79%,95.91%,75.23%,97.75%;Conclusion:Both HPV and TCT are suitable for the screening of precancerous lesions of cervical cancer in the early stage, and they are simpler and faster, less invasive to patients, and are recommended for clinical use.
