Relationship between high density lipoprotein, uric acid and their ratios and diabetic nephropathy
Objective:To investigate the relationship between High Density Lipoprotein(HDL)and Uric Acid(UA)levels and their ratios and Diabetic Nephropathy(DN).Methods:A total of 106 patients with diabetes admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into simple diabetes group(n=56)and DN group(n=50)according to Urinary Albumin-creatinine Ratio(UACR).The expression levels of HDL,UA and HDL/UA were compared between the two groups. The correlation between the expression levels of HDL,UA and HDL/UA and DN was analyzed by Pearson.Multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of DN.Receiver Operating Characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the diagnostic value of HDL,UA and HDL/UA in DN.Results:The expression levels of HDL and HDL/UA in DN group were lower than those in simple diabetes group. The expression level of UA in DN group was significantly higher than that in simple diabetes group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Through Pearson correlation analysis,HDL and HDL/UA levels were negatively correlated with DN(P<0.05),while UA levels were positively correlated with DN(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the expression levels of UA and HDL/UA were risk factors for DN(P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that the highest specificity was 85%for HDL,the highest accuracy was 73.6%for UA,and the same sensitivity of HDL and UA was 74%.The Area Underthe Curve(AUC)of the three was 0.678,0.785,and 0.803,respectively.Among them,UA and HDL/UA had certain diagnostic value, and HDL/UA had the largest AUC value and the highest diagnostic value for DN.Conclusion:The expression levels of HDL,UA and HDL/UA are closely related to DN,which is of great significance for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of DN.
