Comparative study on the diagnostic value of transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasonography in ectopic pregnancy
Objective:To investigate the clinical diagnostic value of transvaginal ultrasound in the early stage of ectopic pregnancy.Methods:50 patients with high suspected ectopic pregnancy admitted to our hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were studied and diagnosed by transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound.Using the results of laparoscopy as the gold standard, the detection rate of transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasonography in ectopic pregnancy was compared. The consistency between the two inspection methods and the gold standard inspection results was analyzed. The detection of typical acoustic images was compared.Result:The detection rate of transabdominal ultrasonography for ectopic pregnancy, the accuracy and sensitivity of diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy, the consistency degree with laparoscopic diagnosis, and the detection rate of typical sonography(visible embryo in the external pregnancy sac, false pregnancy sac in utero, pelvic effusion and mass in the adnexal area)were significantly lower than that of transvaginal ultrasonography. The rate of missed diagnosis was significantly higher than that of transvaginal ultrasound(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of transvaginal ultrasound in patients with ectopic pregnancy can not only effectively detect the type of ectopic pregnancy, with high diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity, but also clearly detect its typical sonogram, which has high clinical application value.
