Efficacy of tiotropium bromide powder combined with ceftazidime in the treatment of chronic obstructive pneumonia
Objective:To investigate the curative effect of tiotropium bromide powder combined with ceftazidime in the treatment of chronic obstructive pneumonia.Methods:A total of 98 patients with chronic obstructive pneumonia who were treated in our hospital from June 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.The patients were divided into control group and observation group with 49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with atomized inhalation of tiotropium bromide powder;The observation group was treated with intravenous ceftazidime on the basis of control group.Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.The pulmonary function indexes,serum indexes and adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed and compared.Result:After treatment,the Peak expiratory flow(PEF)and Forced expiratory volumone second/Forced vital capacity(FEV1%)in both groups were significantly higher than before treatment.The increase of PEF and FEV1%in observation group was significantly greater than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of Interleukin 4(IL-4),Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),Transforming growth factor-β1(β-β)in both groups increased significantly.The levels of IL-4,TNF-α and TGF-β1 in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Tiotropium bromide combined with ceftazidime can improve lung function and reduce inflammatory injury in patients with chronic obstructive pneumonia with good safety.
