Predictive value of serum levels of apolipoprotein E,SST2 and free fatty acids in patients with acute ischemic stroke
Objective:To investigate the predictive value of serum levels of Apolipoprotein E(ApoE),soluble growth stimulation expressed gene 2(SST2)and Free fatty acid(FFA)in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods:a total of 163 patients with Acute ischemic stroke(AIS)admitted to the Department of Neurology from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected, according to the outcome of 90 days after onset, the patients were divided into good outcome group and bad outcome group. The baseline data were collected, and the serum levels of FFA,ApoE and SST2 were measured and compared between the two groups to analyze the prognostic value of ApoE,SST2 and FFA expression alone or in combination in AIS patients. Results:the levels of serum ApoE,SST2 and FFA in the poor outcome group were significantly lower than those in the poor outcome group(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic analysis showed that hypertension,hyperlipemia,ApoE,SST2 and FFA were the influencing factors(P<0.05).The AUC values of ApoE,SST2 and FFA were 0.768,0.740 and 0.801,respectively,and the AUC values of ApoE,SST2 and FFA were 0.874,respectively.Conclusion:hypertension,hyperlipemia,ApoE,SST2 and FFA are all the factors affecting the prognosis of AIS,and the combination of ApoE,SST2 and FFA is more effective in predicting the prognosis of AIS.
