Effect of liquid wound dressing and potassium permanganate on healing and pain of perineal incision
Objective:To study the effect of liquid wound dressing and potassium permanganate on healing and pain of perineal incision. Methods:From April 2023 to February 2024,60 cases of parturient parturients who underwent lateral perineal resection were divided into dressing group(singular,N=30,treated with liquid wound dressing)and control group(even,N=30,treated with potassium permanganate solution)according to simplified randomization(odd-even method). The pain degree of perineal incision(visual analogue scale(VAS)and wound pain scale),healing and serum cortisol(Cor)level were observed in the two groups before treatment,on the 3rd,5th and 7th day of treatment. Results:Compared with before treatment,VAS pain score and Cor level in 2 groups were decreased gradually(P<0.05),and the decrease was more significant in dressing group(P<0.05)after treatment on 3,5 and 7 days. The total pain relief rate in dressing group was 90.00%,significantly higher than 66.67%in control group(P<0.05).The grade A healing rate of dressing group was 60.00%,which was significantly higher than that of control group(33.33%)(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with potassium permanganate, liquid wound dressing has better effect on relieving pain and promoting healing of perineal incision, which is worth recommending.
