Effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction on coronary heart disease and its influence on neurofluid and HIF-1α/VEGF signaling pathway
Objective:To study the efficacy of Taohong Siwu Decoction in the treatment of coronary heart disease(CHD)and its effects on neurohumoral,hypoxia-induced-factor-1α(HIF-1α)/vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)signaling pathway.Methods:A total of 200 patients with coronary heart disease admitted to our hospital from February 2020 to March 2023 were selected as research objects,and were divided into control group and observation group according to the single and even numbers of the file number,with 100 cases each.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Taohong Siwu decoction on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,arterial elasticity,neurohumoral,HIF-1α/VEGF signaling pathway related factors expression and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The small artery oscillation index(C2)and the large artery compliance index(C1)were significantly increased in both groups,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Aldosterone(ALD),Atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP)and Brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)decreased significantly in both groups.ANP and BNP in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05),but ALD was not significantly different between two groups(P>0.05).HIF-1α and VEGF were significantly decreased in both groups,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)was significantly increased in both groups,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Taohong Siwu Decoction can enhance the arterial elasticity and clinical efficacy of patients with coronary heart disease,and regulate neurohumoral,which may be related to the regulation of HIF-1α/VEGF signaling pathway,and has high safety.
