Clinical effect and safety of painless loop electrical excision procedure on early cervical precancerous lesions
Objective:To explore the clinical effect and safety of painless loop electrical excision procedure in the treatment of early cervical precancerous lesions.Methods:80 patients with cervical precancerous lesions admitted from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group underwent routine surgery, while the observation group received painless loop electrical excision procedure. The clinical indicators such as clinical effect at 1 month after surgery, surgical time, intraoperative bleeding volume, and postoperative vaginal scab shedding bleeding time, quality of life(Core Quality of Life Questionnaire(QLQ-C30))before surgery and at 1 month after surgery, incidence rates of complications within 1 month and recurrence rate within 1 year after surgery were compared. Results:Reexamination results at 1 month after surgery showed that the total clinical effective rate and satisfaction in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The observation group had shorter surgical time, less intraoperative bleeding volume and shorter postoperative vaginal scab shedding bleeding time compared to the control group(all P<0.05).At 1 month after surgery, the QLQ-C30 scores of both groups were higher than before surgery, and the scores in observation group were higher(all P<0.05).The total complication rate in the observation group at 1 month after surgery was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Within 1 year after surgery, the total recurrence rate were lower in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Painless loop electrical excision procedure has an exact effect in treating early cervical precancerous lesions, and it has small trauma to patients, fast postoperative recovery and low risk of complications, and it can help improve the quality of life of patients.
