Clinical analysis of the adjuvant treatment of knee osteoarthritis with joint effusion with Lishi Xiaotuo Pill
Objective:To investigate the effect of Lishi Xiaotuo pill in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with joint effusion.Methods:66 patients with knee osteoarthritis with joint effusion diagnosed in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects.Patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 33 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment,and the observation group received oral treatment with Lishi Xiaotuo pill on the basis of the control group.Both groups received continuous treatment for 3 weeks.After 3 weeks of treatment,the efficacy of the two groups was evaluated according to the therapeutic criteria in the guidelines for clinical research of new Chinese medicine.Before and 3 weeks after treatment,the amount of joint effusion was detected by ultrasound,and the degree of pain was assessed by visual analogue scale(VAS).Results:The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment,the amount of joint effusion decreased in both groups after treatment,and the decrease was more significant in the observation group(P<0.05).VAS scores of both groups were decreased after treatment,and the decrease was more significant in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The adjuvant treatment of Lishi Xiaotuo pill for patients with knee osteoarthritis with joint effusion has significant clinical effect,which can reduce the amount of joint effusion and relieve the pain degree of patients.
