Study on the differential value of blue laser imaging magnifying gastroscopy combined with indigo carmine staining for early gastric cancer
Objective:To explore the value of blue laser imaging magnifying gastroscopy(M-BLI)combined with indigo carmine staining in distinguishing early gastric cancer.Method:Sixty patients with suspected early gastric cancer were selected from the hospital from January 2022 to December 2022,all of whom underwent routine white light imaging(WLI)and M-BLI combined with indigo carmine staining. The pathological examination results were used as the gold standard to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of WLI,M-BLI combined with indigo carmine staining for early gastric cancer.Result:The image quality scores of M-BLI combined with indigo carmine staining were higher than those of WLI(P<0.05).Pathological examination showed that among 60 suspected early gastric cancer patients,20 were gastric cancer patients and 40 were precancerous lesions;M-BLI combined with indigo carmine staining showed that there were 21 patients with gastric cancer and 39 patients with precancerous lesions, with a Kappa value of 0.889 compared to pathological examination;WLI examination showed that there were 20 patients with gastric cancer and 40 patients with precancerous lesions, with a Kappa value of 0.550 compared to pathological examination. The accuracy and sensitivity of M-BLI combined with indigo carmine staining in diagnosing early gastric cancer were 95.00%(57/60)and 95.00%(19/20),respectively,which were higher than the 80.00%(48/60)and 70.00%(14/20)of WLI(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of M-BLI and indigo carmine staining can obtain clearer images and has high discriminatory power for early gastric cancer.
