Effects of laparoscopic cholecystectomy on stress response and gastrointestinal function in patients with chronic cholecystitis and hepatic insufficiency
Objective:To analyze the effects of laparoscopic cholecystectomy on stress response and gastrointestinal function in patients with chronic cholecystitis and hepatic insufficiency. Methods:A total of 130 patients with chronic cholecystitis admitted to the hospital from August 2020 to August 2023 were selected as the study subjects.According to the presence and absence of hepatic insufficiency, the patients were divided into observation group(n=60)and control group(n=70).Stress response, gastrointestinal function, surgical indicators, length of hospital stay and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss, surgical time, rate of conversion to open surgery,or length of hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).On day 3 after surgery, the levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and peripheral blood leukocyte count in both groups increased significantly(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in recovery time for bowel sounds, anal exhaust time,or time to first bowel movement between the groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopic cholecystectomy can increase the stress level of patients with chronic cholecystitis and hepatic insufficiency, but there is little influence on patients.Compared to patients with simple chronic cholecystitis, there is no significant difference.Laparoscopic cholecystectomy can be adopted to help patients recover as soon as possible.
