Comparison of the effect of modified retention enema and traditional retention enema in the treatment of acute pancreatitis with PI
Objective:To explore the effects of modified retention enema and traditional retention enema in the treatment of Paralytic Ileus(PI)patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods:A total of 93 patients with acute pancreatitis combined with PI who were treated in the emergency surgery department of our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected,6 cases fell off halfway, and 87 cases were finally enrolled in the study. They were divided into the traditional group(43 cases)and the improved group(44 cases)according to random number table method. The traditional group was treated with traditional retention enema, and the improved group was treated with modified retention enema. The therapeutic effect, clinical indexes, gastrointestinal function and comfort level of the two groups were observed. Results:The effective rate and the comfort rate of the improved group were significantly higher than those of the traditional group(P<0.05).Compared with the traditional group, the time of abdominal distension relief, abdominal pain relief, first exhaust, first defecation and bowel sound recovery in the improved group was significantly shorter, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 week of intervention, the levels of serum motilin, gastrin and vasoactive intestinal peptide in the improved group were significantly higher than those in the traditional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified retention enema in the treatment of acute pancreatitis with PI has significant clinical effects, which can accelerate the symptoms of abdominal distension and abdominal pain, accelerate the recovery of gastrointestinal function, improve gastrointestinal hormone levels, and have a high comfort level.
