Clinical study of N-acetylcysteine combined with terbutaline sulfate in the treatment of asthmatic pneumonia in children
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of N-acetylcysteine combined with terbutaline sulfate in the treatment of asthmatic pneumonia in children. Methods:A total of 65 children with asthmatic pneumonia who received treatment in our hospital from January 2020 to September 2023 were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into control group(32 cases)and observation group(33 cases). Both groups received routine symptomatic treatment after admission, while the control group received terbutaline sulfate aerosol inhalation treatment;Observation group was treated with n-acetylcysteine on the basis of control group. Both groups were treated continuously for 1 week. The disappearance time of clinical symptoms, immune function[Immunoglobulin G(IgG),Immunoglobulin A(IgA),Immunoglobulin M(IgM)]and the incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results:The disappearance time of cough, wheezing and rales in observation group was significantly shorter than that in control group(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of IgG,IgA and IgM in both groups were significantly increased, and the levels of IgG,IgA and IgM in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups.Conclusion:N-acetylcysteine combined with terbutaline sulfate can shorten the time of symptom relief and improve the immunity of children with asthmatic pneumonia, with high safety.
