The effect of nebulized inhalation of terbutaline combined with budesonide on symptom resolution time and immune function in children with bronchopneumonia
Objective:To explore the effects of nebulized inhalation of terbutaline(TBL)combined with budesonide(BUD)on symptom resolution time and immune function in children with bronchopneumonia.Methods:83 children with bronchopneumonia admitted to our hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into BUD group(n=42)and TBL group(n=41).The BUD group received BUD nebulization inhalation treatment, while the TBL group received TBL in addition to the BUD group.Compare the clinical efficacy, symptom relief time, immune function, and adverse reactions between two groups. Results:The total clinical effective rate of the TBL group was higher than that of the BUD group(P<0.05).The cough relief time, fever reduction time, shortness of breath relief time, and disappearance time of wet lung rales in the TBL group were shorter than those in the BUD group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the levels of IgA,IgM,and IgG between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, all indicators in both groups increased.Compared with the BUD group, the TBL group had higher levels of IgA,IgM,and IgG(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of TBL and BUD nebulization inhalation has better therapeutic effects, promotes the disappearance of symptoms in children with bronchopneumonia, improves immune function, and is safe.
