The effect of probucol combined with rosuvastatin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with cerebral infarction and its effect on serum visfatin and homocysteine
Objective:To investigate the effect of probucol on serum visfatin and homocysteine(Hcy)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and cerebral infarction. Methods:A total of 82 patients with T2DM and cerebral infarction treated in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was treated with rosuvastatin;the observation group was treated with probucol on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, serum visfatin,Hcy,carotid intima-media thickness(CAIMT),carotid intima-media thickness(CAIMT)and adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of visfatin and Hcy,plaque area and CAIMT in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Treatment with probucol combined with rosuvastatin in patients with T2DM complicated with cerebral infarction can control the condition of patients, reduce the area of carotid plaque and CAIMT,reduce serum visfatin and Hcy levels, improve neurological function of patients, and does not increase obvious adverse reactions.
