Analysis of clinical significance of sex hormone levels in infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome
Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of sex hormone indexes in infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods:A total of 60 patients with PCOS infertility diagnosed by the clinical laboratory of our hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. All patients received conventional PCOS infertility treatment. The patients were followed up for 6 months, and the natural conception of the patients after treatment was recorded, and the patients were divided into non-pregnant patients and natural conception patients. The baseline data and sex hormone levels[Progestin(P),Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),Prolactin(PRL),Estradiol(E2),Tsetosterone(T)and Luteinizing hormone(LH)]of patients with different pregnancy conditions were analyzed, and the relationship between sex hormone indexes and natural pregnancy outcome of PCOS infertile patients was analyzed.Results:30 cases(50.00%)of 60 PCOS infertility patients failed to conceive naturally after treatment. The levels of P,PRL,T,LH and FSH in non-pregnant patients before treatment were significantly higher than those in natural pregnant patients, and the levels of E2 were significantly lower than those in natural pregnant patients(P<0.05).The regression analysis results showed that P,PRL,T,LH,and FSH may be risk factors for natural conception failure in PCOS infertility patients(OR>1,P<0.05),and E2 was its protective factor(OR<1,P<0.05).Conclusion:Abnormal sex hormone levels in PCOS infertile patients may lead to failure of natural conception after treatment.
