Effect of laparoscopic cholecystectomy and open surgery on patients with gallstones
Objective:To explore the effects of laparoscopic cholecystectomy and open surgery on patients with gallstones. Methods:The clinical data of 104 patients with cholecystolithiasis admitted to our hospital from May 2019 to October 2023 were retrospectively collected.Patients were divided into the control group(open surgery,n=51)and the observation group(laparoscopic cholecystectomy,n=53)according to the differences in surgical methods. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were analyzed and compared.Substance P,serotonin, and Norepinephrine(NE)were detected by enzyme-linked immunoassay(ELISA)three days after operation. The postoperative recovery of patients was assessed within one week after surgery and the occurrence of postoperative complications was determined before discharge. Results:The effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 3 days of operation, the levels of substance P,serotonin, and NE in both groups were increased, and all of them in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The time of anal exhaust, the time of getting out of bed and the time of hospitalization in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group(5.66%)was markedly lower than that in the control group(19.60%)(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with traditional open surgery, laparoscopic cholecystectomy has a better clinical effect on patients with gallstones, which can alleviate postoperative pain, promote postoperative recovery, and reduce the incidence of complications.
