Application of Case Teaching Combined with Flipped Classroom Modes in Clinical Medical Undergraduate Teaching
Objective:To explore the teaching effect of case teaching combined with flipped classroom teaching modes in clinical medicine undergraduate students.Methods:Undergraduate students majoring in Clinical Medicine at North Sichuan Medical College from 2023 to 2024 were selected as the research subjects.A total of 32 students in the control group adopted traditional teaching methods,while 30 students in the research group adopted case teaching combined with flipped classroom teaching modes.The theoretical exam scores and questionnaire surveys were compared between the two groups.Results:After one year of teaching,the theoretical exam scores of the research group students improved steadily,they were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The questionnaire survey showed that the research group was superior to the control group in analytical and problem-solving skills,exercising critical thinking,expression and communication skills,learning interest,teacher-student cooperation,learning autonomy,and satisfaction of teaching(P0.05).Conclusion:The application of case teaching combined with flipped classroom teaching modes can significantly improve teaching effectiveness and student satisfaction,and is worthy of widespread promotion and use.
