Effects of nutritional support based on nutritional risk assessment on serum nutritional indexes, lung function and immune function of patients after pleural effusion puncture and drainage
Objective:To explore the effect of nutritional support measures based on nutritional risk assessment on immune function and nutritional indexes in patients after pleural effusion puncture and drainage. Methods:A total of 80 patients with pleural effusion after puncture and drainage from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected and divided into groups according to the drawing method. The control group(40 cases)received routine nursing, and the observation group(40 cases)received nutritional support based on nutritional risk assessment. After 4 weeks, serum nutritional indexes of Albumin(ALB),Prealbumin(PA),Hemoglobin(Hb),and Transferrin(TRF)were compared between the two groups.Lung function:1s Forced expiratory volume(FEV1),Vital capacity(VC),Maximum ventilation per minute,MVV),Forced vital capacity(FVC);Indicators of immune function:CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+levels.Results:The level of CD8+in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the levels of TRF,ALB,Hb,VC,FEV1,FVC,CD3+,MVV,CD4+,PA,CD4+/CD8+were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nutritional support based on nutritional risk assessment can effectively improve the immune function and nutritional status of patients after pleural effusion puncture and drainage, and promote the recovery of lung function.
