Value of dual-source CT three-phase enhanced scanning in the diagnosis of primary lung cancer and lymph node metastasis
Objective:To evaluate the value of dual-source CT three-phase enhanced scanning in the diagnosis of primary lung cancer and lymph node metastasis.Methods:106 patients with suspected primary lung cancer admitted to our hospital from May 2020 to December 2023 who underwent surgical pathologic examination were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent pathological examination,CT plain scan and dual-source CT three-phase enhanced scan.Using the results of surgical pathology as the"gold standard"for primary lung cancer and lymph node metastasis,106 patients with suspected primary lung cancer were analyzed. To observe the diagnostic results of 106 patients with suspected primary lung cancer by CT plain scan and dual-source CT three-phase enhanced scan, and calculate the diagnostic efficacy and consistency with the gold standard diagnosis results. Results:Of 106 suspected patients with primary lung cancer,96 cases were malignant and 11 cases were benign.CT plain scan confirmed 62 malignant cases and 6 benign cases.Dual-source CT three-stage enhanced scan confirmed malignant 88 cases and benign 10 cases. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of three-phase enhanced dual-source CT scan were significantly higher than those of plain CT scan(P<0.05).Lymph node metastasis was found in 96 cases of malignant lesions confirmed by"gold standard",including 38 cases of N0 stage,25 cases of N1 stage and 33 cases of N2 stage.Plain CT scan confirmed 52 cases of malignant lesions with lymph node metastasis, and dual-source CT three-phase enhanced scan confirmed 86 cases of malignant lesions with lymph node metastasis. The"gold standard"Kappa value of three-phase enhanced dual-source CT scan was significantly higher than that of plain CT scan(P<0.05).Conclusion:Dual-source CT three-phase enhanced scanning has high application value in the diagnosis of primary lung cancer and lymph node metastasis.Compared with CT plain scan, the former has higher accuracy and specificity in primary diagnosis.
