Detection significance of echocardiographic ventricular remodeling indicators and electrocardiogram QRS-T angle in patients with HFpEF
Objective:To investigate the detection significance of echocardiographic ventricular remodeling indicators and electrocardiogram QRS-T angle in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF).Methods:A total of 62 HFpEF patients treated at our institution between January 2021 and December 2023 were enrolled in the study. These patients were categorized into two groups based on the presence of left ventricular remodeling:the remodeling group(n=21)and the non-remodeling group(n=41).Additionally,30 healthy individuals undergoing routine physical examinations during the same period were included as a control group. All patients underwent routine echocardiography and 12-lead electrocardiogram examination.Echocardiography detection of cardiac function, ventricular remodeling indicators, and electrocardiogram QRS-T angle were detected by 12-lead electrocardiogram, and the correlation between ventricular remodeling indicators and electrocardiogram QRS-T angle was analyzed. Results:The remodeling group exhibited significantly lower in left ventricular ejection fraction, left ventricular fractional shortening, and left ventricular stroke volume compared to both the non-remodeling and control groups(P<0.05),with the non-remodeling group also showing lower values than the control group(P<0.05).The ratio of E peak to A peak, left ventricular remodeling index and mean velocity of circumferential fiber shortening in remodeling group,non-remodeling group and control group were decreased in turn(P<0.05)while the left ventricular mass index was increased in turn(P<0.05).The T axis and QRS-T angle were reduced in turn(P<0.05)while the QRS axis was risen in turn(P<0.05)in remodeling group,non-remodeling group and control group.Correlation analysis showed that echocardiography ventricular remodeling indicators of E/A and LVRI were highly negatively correlated with electrocardiogram QRS-T angle(P<0.05),and MVCF and LVMI were positively correlated with electrocardiogram QRS-T angle(P<0.05).Conclusion:There is a certain correlation between electrocardiogram QRS-T angle and echocardiographic ventricular remodeling indicators in patients with HFpEF,which has certain clinical significance.
