Application of Xingqi Huoluo prescription combined with sacral canal closure in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation
Objective:To investigate the effect of Xingqi Huoluo prescription combined with sacral canal closure in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods:A total of 50 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted to our hospital from November 2020 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects.Patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 25 cases in each group.The control group was treated with sacral canal closure.The observation group was treated with Xingqi Huoluo prescription combined with sacral canal closure.The syndrome scores,lumbar function[Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)score],inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP)]of the two groups were analyzed and compared.Results:After treatment,the TCM syndrome score of both groups was lower than that before treatment,and the TCM syndrome score of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the JOA score of both groups was improved compared with that before treatment,and the JOA score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,IL-6 and CRP in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and IL-6 and CRP in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Xingqi Huoluo Decoction combined with sacral canal closure can improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with lumbar disc herniation,relieve inflammation and promote the recovery of lumbar function.
